Mainline provided book design and production services for The Politics of Place: A History of Zoning in Chicago, a 200-page book written by Joseph Schwieterman and Dana Caspall of the Chaddick Institute at DePaul University. Mainline created a refined yet flexible design that would accommodate the book’s 150 photographs and illustrations. Mainline then worked to merge the text and images together into an engaging, cohesive volume. Mainline also has designed and produced two other books for the Chaddick Institute: Shaping Contemporary Suburbia and Voices from the Past, Visions for the Future.
