Mainline produced several CD-ROMs of the DuPont Engineering Polymers web site, which included a vast collection of PDF technical and marketing documentation. The PDF files were indexed so that users could easily do keyword searching across the entire library. Live links were preserved to take users to the live web site if they had an Internet connection, otherwise no Internet access was necessary. Mainline created the phrase “The Web Without the Wait” to promote the speed at which information could be found on the CD. Mainline also designed the packaging and CD label.
