Mainline created an electronic library of 22 years of past issues of the Columns newspaper, published by Northwestern Mutual Life for its sales representatives. Mainline scanned oversized issues and made PDFs of each issue. The scans were also processed using Adobe Acrobat Capture to obtain searchable text from the scans. The library was uploaded onto a server at Northwestern Mutual Life so staff members can search for information when needed.
